UNB, Chandpur :
Police recovered the body of a 15-year-old ninth grader from a tea stall on Sunday morning from Hajiganj upazila sadar.
The deceased was identified as Riyad, 15, son of Md Faruk Hossain of Ghosai Bari in the municipality area.
Alamgir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Hajiganj Police Station, said they recovered the body around 8am after being contacted by locals.
Police said they suspect miscreants stabbed Riyad with a sharp weapon and dumped his body in the tea stall.
The body was sent to Chandpur General Hospital for an autopsy.
Locals said they informed police after Md Farid found the body in his tea stall.
Blood stains were found at a nearby abandoned building and the main gate of a primary school, they added.
