The Orient Bread School Volleyball Tournament began on Friday at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur.
Vice President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation and Managing Director of Orient Food Company Limited Mahbub Uz Zaman formally inaugurated the four-day meet as the chief guest.
In the day’s opening boy’s group matches Scholastica School, Baridhara Rajuk School, Badda Alatunnessa School, Scholastica School, BIT School, South Bridge School, Baridhara Rajuk School, South Bridge School and Nawab Habibullah School won their respective matches.
In the girl’s group opening matches, BIT School, Sunnydale School, Viqarunnisa Noon School, Green Herald School, Scholastica School, Viqarunnisa Noon School,Australian International School and Sunnydale School won their respective matches.
4th Dutch Bangla Bank Golf Tournament-2014 inaugurated
BSS, Dhaka :
The inauguration ceremony of 4th Dutch Bangla Bank Golf Tournament-2014 was held on Friday at Shaheen Golf and Country Club of BAF Base Zahurul Haque, Patenga, Chittagong.
Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Zahurul Haque Air commodore Md Humayun Kabir inaugurated the tournament.
Among others, senior officers of local base, Senior Vice President of Dutch Bangla Bank Syed Mahmud Akhter and participants were present on the occasion.
