The First Security School Rugby competition will begin today (Wednesday) on Physical Training College ground in the city’s Mohammadpur.
Dr M Aminul Islam, director of sports directorate, is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest while Chief of Public Relation of First Security Islami Bank Shahzada Boshunia will present as special guest.
A total of 12 metropolis schools, split into four groups, will take part
in the three-day meet, sponsored by First Security Islami Bank and organised
by Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union (BRFU).
The Participating schools are St Gregory School & College, Islami Adarsha High School, Ali Ahmed School & College, Begum Rokeya Khandakar Pouro High School, Shaheed Nabi High School, Cambrian School, Sunshine Pre Cadet High School, Haider Ali School & College, Hazi Akondo Ali High School, Bedaid Muslim High School, Ahamadbagh Adarsha High School and Menartek High School.
