A total of 21 metropolis schools received sports gear ahead of the zonal phase matches of the First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey that will begin on January 31 at the three separate venues across the country.
The zonal round venues are Rajshahi, Chittagong and Faridpur.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Sunday at the conference room of Bangladesh Olympic Association.
In the press conference, title sponsor First Security Islami Bank distributed stipend of Taka 5,52,000.00 among the last year’s selected 46 hockey players, said a Bangladesh Hockey Federation press release.
