Saint Gregory’s High School, Dhanmondi Tutorial, Play-Pen, Dhaka Residential Model School & College reached the semifinals of the Polar Ice cream 22nd School Handball (Boys’ Group) Tournament on Saturday. In the day’s first quarterfinal, Saint Gregory’s High School defeated Scholastica by 26-9 goals at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
In the day’s second quarterfinal, Dhanmondi edged past Sunny Dale by 15-14 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s third quarterfinal, Play-Pen thrashed Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School by 12-5 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s fourth quarterfinal, Dhaka Residential Model School & College crushed BISC by 12-4 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s (Girls’ Group) matches, Scholastica blanked Chittagong Grammar School by 17-0 goals while Green Herald International School beat Agrani High School & College by 3-2 goals and Shaheed Anwar Girls’ College smashed South Breeze School by 7-1 goals and Viqarunnisa Noon School & College overpowered Motijheel Colony High School by 8-1 goals at the same venue.
Today Saint Gregory’s High School will take on Dhaka Residential Model School & College in the first semifinal while Dhanmondi Tutorial will take on Play-Pen in the second semifinal at the same venue.
Besides, the quarterfinal matches of the Girls’ Group will be taken place today at the same venue.
