The Polar Icecream 23rd School Handball (Boys’ & Girls’) Tournament began at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Thursday.
DIG of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Md Ibrahim Fatemi inaugurated the handball competition by releasing the balloons as the chief guest while CEO of Dhaka Icecream Limited Shah Masud Imam was with him as the special guest.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Handball Federation Quamrun Nahar Dana, General Secretary of the Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairman of the Tournament Committee (Boys’ Group) Golam Habib and Chairman of the Tournament Committee (Girls’ Group) Hamida Begum were present at the time.
In the day’s matches (Girls’ Group), SunnyDale, Scholastica won their respective matches at the same venue.
