Police recovered the body of a schoolgirl in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj district on Friday afternoon.
Deceased Antara Khanam, 13, was the daughter of Nasir Fakir, a resident of Konagram area in Majhigati union under the upazila. She was a seventh grader at Majhigati Dashpalli NK High School.
Locals spotted the body on a rail line in Naldanga area around 8 am and informed police.
Police, late, recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue, said Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Md Manirul Islam.
