A family of Boalkhali in Chattogram severely panicked following the alarming influence of eve teasers.
The family of one school going girl compelled to stop the study of their daughter from going school .
As outcome of lodging a case against these alleged eve teasers, the family members of Johora Begum are repeatedly threatened by these miscreants and compelled to leave their ancestral home . Sources said local administration, Thana police earlier informed it and lastly lodged case under sections of Women & Child Repression Act before Boalkhali Thana on January 27 last against 8 accused .
According to plaintiff and FIR , after lodging the case, the accused stormed in the house of Johora Begum where their family members mercilessly beaten by the alleged eve teasers. The plaintiff further said after their shelter outside ancestral home, the alleged accused frequently calling them over cell phone with threat of severe consequences .
These eve teasers yet to be apprehended after repeated complaints by the guardian of school girl Samira. Samira (15) is the student of class seven of Charandip UC High School, Boalkhali.
It is matter of strange that when Prime Miniser Sheikh Hasina has enforced severe punishable act against the eve teasing and uplift of women education in the country but these daring eve teasers have compelled the Samira Akhter to refrain from study, conscious circles opined. Rule of law is existing and these eve teasers should be given with exemplary punishment , they observed.
