School girl missing from Bogura rescued from Ashulia

Law enforcement rescued a teenage schoolgirl from Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka, early Monday, five days after her missing from Bogura district. The victim has been identified as Tomasree Bagchi, 14, a Class VIII student of Sandira Shaheed Khan School. She was the daughter of Taposh Bagchi, a resident of Kashimpur village in Adamdighi upazila.
Police said that Saddam, son of one Samad of Sandira village, used to stalk Tomasree.
It is noted that on November 20, Saddam and his followers abducted the schoolgirl when she was on the way to her coaching class.
Police, later, arrested Saddam and another one, and sent them to jail following a court order, said Adamdighi Police Station OC Monirul Islam Monir.
Based on their statement, police raided a house in Ashulia and rescued Tomasree from there early monday.
Police could not arrest anyone as the rest kidnappers who were inside the house managed to flee, the OC said.
