A 12 -year old who was allegedly eve-teased very often by a stalker on the way to her school , committed suicide on Monday night .
The victim was identified as Antara Shaha(sua) , daughter of Narayan Chandra Shaha of Saincharpar village under Poghaldhigha Union of Sarishabari Upazila.
She was a student of class seven of Sarishabari Salema Khatun Girls’ High School, went out of her house to go to Mamun srmity Coaching Centre at 3:30 pm and after finishing the coaching ,she was returning to her residence at 7:00 pm.
But on way to her residence, she was vehemently intercept ed and given illicit propose by a school boy named Tanin son of Motion talukder of Mulbari village under the Upazila around 7:40 pm.
Being traumatized with the incident, she was passing time with severe mental disturbances after returning home .at one stage of the situation she was committed suicide with scarf from the ceiling fan.
Tanin has been stalking the girl over a year on way to her school, gave an illicit proposal to her which she boldly protested, turning the man perverted, said local s and sources of the victim’s family,
We have already come to know the matter and investigating it.
If any complaint in this regard is brought to Sarishabari police station.we must go to for her stern action against the culprit” said Mazedur Rahman officer in charge of police station.
Victim’s family is under way to file a case against the stalker with Sarishabari police station, said victim’s farther.
