The Fiji Friendship Cup School Rugby Competition kicks-off today at the Paltan Maidan. Bangladesh Rugby Federation has arranged the rugby meet while Consulate of Republic of Fiji is the sponsor of the tournament and ADN Limited is the supporting partner of the competition.
A total of 16 teams splitting into four groups are taking part in the rugby competition.
Top team from each group will play in the semifinals. The semifinals will be held October 17.
The winners of the two semifinals will face each other in the final on October 18.
Consul of Republic of Fiji Seemab Rasheed will inaugurate the rugby meet today at 11.00 am as the chief guest while National Sports Award winner table tennis player Saidul Haque Saadi will be with him as the special guest.
