A student of class one of Uttar Baravita Govt. Primary school under Phulbari upazila in Kurigram was killed in a road accident on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Muzahid (7) the only son of Ariful Haque of village Baravita.
Local eyewitnesses and head teacher of Uttar Baravita Govt. Primary school Mostafizur Rahman said the accident took place when the student was returning home from school, a speedy Auto (three wheeler) coming from Phulbari upazila dashed him from behind near his house and went away.
The ill fated student was killed on the spot. Chairman of Baravita union parishad Khaibar Ali admitted the incident and told that we trying to minimize the matter. Officer-In-Charge(OC) of Phulbari police station Rajib Kumar Roy told the New Nation that we have not received any complain from his family.
However the body has been buried at night without any complain.
