School at centre of revolution in women’s football set on fire

The office room of Kolsindur High School and College, home of a renaissance in women’s football for the country, located in bordering Dhobaura upazila, was set on fire on by miscreants early Tuesday.
Ali Ahmed Mollah, officer-in-charge of Dhobaura Police Station, confirmed the matter and also alleged it was a deliberate act of arson.
The fire gutted all the valuable documents including school certificates, teacher’s files,
and players’ certificates.
The college authority has filed a complaint with the police station in this connection. Necessary legal measures would be taken after investigation, the OC added.
Meanwhile, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rafiquzzaman visited the school and directed the administration to investigate the matter with importance.
