A court here on Wednesday asked Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) mayor Ariful Huq Chowdhury to submit probe report within a week over missing of its three damaged vehicles.
Judge Saifuzzaman Hiru of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate passed the order after examining police report.
After getting the report, the court will hear on December 20 on this regard.
Earlier, in October, a general diary was filed over missing the vehicles.
Later, following a court order, sub-inspector Benuchandra of Bandar Bazar Police outpost under Kotwali thana submitted probe report on last November.
Later, Jaberul Islam, deputy engineer (mechanical) of transport division of SCC filed a petition for withdrawing general diary.
The court will take decision over withdrawing of GD after getting the report, said Nehar Ranjan, general record officer (GRO) of Kotwali Police Station.
