Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), Chittagong Regional Committee jointly organized a seminar on Global Economy and Financial Risk Management in Chittagong on Saturday.
The event was attended by Fellow Chartered Accountants and members of ICAB, CRC. MD and Head of Financial Markets, Standard Chartered Bank, Alamgir Morshed presented the key note paper.
Showkat Hossain FCA, Past President, ICAB & Resident Partner, Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co, Chartered Accountants was the Chief Guest of the seminar.
Hossain underscored the need for adopting financial risk management by the corporates and also thanked the organizers for conducting the session for the chartered accountants on such a relevant issue.
