Textiles and Jute Minister Mirza Azam, MP instructed to all government, Jute Mills for purchasing jute in Katcha Bale to ensure the quality of jute recently, which was expectation of jute traders since long.
Chairman of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) Md Rezaul Karim congratulated the State Minister for fulfilling the expectation.
Karim stated that when jute is purchased its wastage and doubt remains about quality and quantity. If the decision is implemented fully it will ensure the quality, quantity and prevention of wastage and corruption. Besides this, it will increase demand of jute in international market.
Karim requested the jute traders to cooperate for implementing the decision of Jute Ministry and also urged to State Minister to give decision for purchasing jute in Pucca Bale also.
