A six member delegation led by Md Rezaul Karim, Chairman of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) is leaving for Indonesia on today to attend the Asian Shippers’ Alliance and Global Shippers’ Alliance Meeting from 01 March to 03 organized by Indonesian National Shippers Council (INSC). Other members of the delegation are Senior Vice Chairman Ariful Ahsan, Vice Chairman Afsar Uddin Ahmed, Directors Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, AKM Aminul Mannan and member Mohammed Nurussafa Mazumder.
The meeting will discuss Economic Policy Update of shipping in regional and global supply-chain sector, doing business in Indonesia getting easier and capitalizing on e-Commerce Boom. Indonesian President will open the Meeting. Minister of Transportation of Indonesia and Chairman, Indonesia Chamber of Commerce will present Inaugural Speech. Ministers of Economy, Maritime, Resources, Public Works and Housing, Industry, Finance and Trade of the government of Indonesia will speak on the occasion.
