Chairman Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) Md. Rezaul Karim met a courtesy call with the Chairman Thailand National Shippers’ Council (TNSC) Nopporn Thepsithar on 31st July, during his visit to Thailand. They discussed bilateral issues of both the countries, says press release.
Chairman SCB informed about development and modernization of infrastructure of Sea Ports specially Mongla Port by the present Government of Bangladesh while discussing with TNSC Chairman. Further, he requested to use Mongla Port for exporting Thai goods to Bangladesh. Besides, SCB Chairman requested TNSC Chairman to play vital role for importing Bangladeshi jute and jute goods, handicrafts and other goods to Thailand.
On the other hand Chairman TNSC informed SCB Chairman about their role of export-import business and activities & facilities of the sea ports of Thailand.
