SC imposes ban on 17 judges` foreign travel

 The Supreme Court administration on Monday imposed a ban on 17 judges to travel Australia, Indonesia, Saudi Arab and Thailand as the Government issued notification for their travel without taking suggestions from the apex court.
The Supreme Court also mentioned the violators of the ban would be accused of breaching departmental discipline, a circular issued on Monday revealed.
These sub-ordinate court judges have been working in different Government offices on deputation. Of the 17 judges,
14 have been getting themselves ready to start for Western Sydney University of Australia May 27 to attend a three-month long training and higher education course there.
