Director, deputy director and administrative officer of Barisal Sher -e- Bangla Medical College Hospital suspended on Monday in recruitment scam.he suspended officials were Dr. Nizamuddin Faruk, director and head of 3rd and fourth class employees’ recruitment committee, Dr. Shohidul Islam Haoladar, deputy director and Abdul Jalil, administrative officer of SBMCH. The suspension letters were signed by Syed Manzurul Islam secretary and AKM Fazlul Huq, deputy secretary of health and family welfare ministry, said Dr. Binoy Krishna Biswas, director of health Barisal division. In the letters it were stated that the action was taken after a 3-member probe committee investigating about the allegations of irregularities and corruptions in recruitments, found facts.
