Sher-e-Bangla Medical College (SBMC) on Saturday received four high flow nasal cannulas for treatment of its patients suffering from COVID-19.
State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Faruk handed over the cannulas to the hospital authorities as a gift of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at upazila parishad hall room.
A quiz competition and prize distribution programme was also organized.
Deputy Commissioner SM Ajior Rahman presided over the programme while Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Proshanto Kumar Das and Sadar upazila executive officer M Munibur Rahman were present, among others.
