Sayera Reza’s music night at Queens Palace auditorium in New York

The US expatriate Bangladeshi versatile folk singer Sayera Reza enthralled the audience at Queens
Palace Auditorium in New York recently. She
performed some hit numbers at the event titled ‘Versatile Music Night.’ Through the performance, she has participated in any programme after four months. Earlier, she performed in a solo show in November 2020. Singers Krishna Tithi and Shah Mahbub also performed in ‘Versatile Music Night.’ Cultural organisation Showtime Music arranged the event.
Sayera Sultana Reza, who is popularly known as Sayera Reza, has a long and colourful music career. In her early age she received primary training in music from Nina Hamid, Pilu Momtaz and Ustad Samir Chakraborty. She learned classical, Lalon, Tagore, modern, folk, Sufi and pop songs. She is an enlisted singer at BTV and Bangladesh Betar. She is also a popular singer in Bengali community in USA. The versatile Sufi-folk artiste Sayera Reza received the 15th ‘Oikko Channel i Music Award’ in 2020 as Best Folk Singer category.
