A high profile delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will arrive in Cox’s Bazar today to see the plights of the Rohingya Muslims.
Sources said the delegation, led by Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, General Supervisor of the King Salman, Relief and Humanitarian Center, will arrive in Cox’s Bazar on a two-day visit to Bangladesh.
Dr Rabeeah, who is also an advisor to the Royal Court of the Kingdom, will arrive in Cox’s Bazar at 10:30 am and will visit the Rohingya camps at 11:00 am.
During the visit, he will distribute rice among Rohingyas at Balukhali camp in Cox’s Bazar.
Dr Rabeeah will visit Cox’s Bazar Hospital today (Thursday) and witness a signing ceremony with the UNHCR.
The Saudi delegation will also leave Dhaka for home today.
