The handing over ceremony of Saudi sacrificial meat held at 1.00 pm in Chittagong port on Tuesday in presence of Saudi diplomat, officials of Islamic Development Bank and Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. with the cooperation of IDB , these sacrificial meat was handed over to IBBL officially aimed at distributing these sacrificial meat to the poor and hapless community of the society, sources said. Representative of Saudi Embassy Dr. Mahadi Dafar AL Mujibah and IDB official Mr. Arman Bakati formally handed over these meat to the representatives of IBBL .
On behalf of IBBL, Executive Vice President & Head of Corporate Social Affairs AHM Latifuddin Chowdhury, Executive vice President & Regional head of Chittagong (North zone) Md. Mostafizur Rahman Siddiqui received the Saudi sacrificial meat.
IBBL sources said these sacrificial meat will be distributed among the extreme poor, hapless community through different branches of the IBBL across the country.
