A Saudi expatriate allegedly committed suicide by taking poison in Ghop Central road area of sadar upazila early Tuesday.
The deceased identified as Majedul Islam, 40, son of Akkel Ali, a resident of Charanda village in Magura district, had recently returned from Saudi Arabia.
Police said Majedul took poison in a huff with his two wives around 1.00am.
Later he was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital where he died early in the morning.
His family members said Majedul had returned from Saudi Arabia a month ago.
