Saudi Arabia dump Bangladesh in AFC U-16 Qualifiers opener

Visiting Saudi Arabia got off to a auspicious start as they came from behind to dump Bangladesh by 5-1 goals in the opening Group D match of the AFC U-16 Qualifiers held on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Bangladesh took the lead in the 28th minute as midfielder Mostajeb Khan curved a cross to onrushing forward Sarwar Zaman Nipu in the middle of the box, Nipu placed the ball coolly into the middle of net with a fierce right footer shot (1-0).
But the lead was lasted a little when Saudi Arabia restored the parity in the 29th minute. Skipper Almas Naif Musa placed the ball into the net following a corner of Dhari Alanazi(1-1).
After the lemon break, the hosts were reduced to 10 men in the 49th minute when goalkeeper Foysal Ahmed fouled Albrikan Feras Tarik outside of the box and the referee Ali Sabah Al Qaysi sent him out of the field showing a direct red card.
Saudi Arabia took the lead in the minute as skipper Almas cut a low cross from the right flank and Albrikan Tariq flicked the ball past substitute goalkeeper M Nur Alom (2-1).
Midfielder Mali scored the third goal for Saudi Arabia from a penalty in the 81st minute (3-1) while midfielder Alduwayhi Abdul Aziz Sulaiman further widened the margin scoring the fourth goal for Saudi Arabia from the top of the D box in the 83rd minute (4-1).
Alabdan Hamad Abdan completed the winners tally scoring the fifth goal for Saudi Arabia one minute before the long whistle (5-1).
