SAU Board meet today

The 9th Governing Board meeting of South Asian University (SAU) under the auspices of University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh will be held in Dhaka today (Monday).
Chairperson of Governing Board of SAU and Chairman of UGC of Nepal Professor Parashar Prasad Koirala will preside over the meeting, while UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan will take part in the meeting as a Member of Governing Board of SAU.
All Members of the Governing Board of SAU including President of SAU Dr Kavita A Sharma,
Deputy Higher Education Minister of Afghanistan Professor Baray Seddiqi, UGC India Chairman Professor Ved Prakash, State Minister for Education Ministry of Maldives Dr. Abdullah Nazeer and Chancellor of Maldives National University Dr. Mohammed Latheef will attend the meeting.
It may be mentioned here that South Asian University is an international university established by the Governments of the eight-member countries- Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC). SAU started its journey in the year 2010. The university currently functions from New Delhi, India.
