Ingredients :
Sattu atta- 1 small cup
Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
Garlic- 1 clove medium (finely chopped)
Green chillies – 1 (optional)
Coriander- 1 tsp finely chopped
½ tsp amchur
½ tsp jeera powder
½ tsp dhaniya powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Water
Regular roti/chapatti dough- 2 balls big sized
Procedure:
Mix the finely chopped garlic, onion, chilli and coriander with the sattu atta. Add all the masalas. And salt Add little water to make thick dough.
Now using a rolling pin to roll one the regular roti dough ball. Use some atta or dusting so that that it doesn’t stick to the surface.
Now, take half of the sattu dough and place it in the centre of the rolled paratha. Then cover it from all the corners so that the sattu stuffing gets concealed properly. Now, use some atta to dust.
Use you palm to slightly latten the stuffed ball so that it becomes easier for you to roll it.
Heat a tava. Place the rolled dough on the tava. Add oil on either sides and cook until goldn brown.
Healthy sattu paratha can be served with curd or pickle.
