A minor boy who sustained injuries during a clash between his father and uncles at Ashashuni in the district on Thursday, succumbed to his injury on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Tayebur Rahman, 10, son of Abdul Gani of East Nakna village in the upazila.
Abdul Gani’s brother Abdul Khalil and his daughter-in-law Nargis Khatun were arrested in the connection with the killing, said Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Ashashuni Police Station.
According to the deceased’s family, Abdul Gani locked into an altercation with Abdul Khalil and his two sons Mohsin and Yeasin over setting up a roof of a house.
During the clash, Tayebur sustained injuries when his uncles threw brickbats to them.
Critically injured Tayebur was rushed to Satkhira Sadar Hospital. But the duty doctors referred him to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).
However, the victim succumbed to his injuries while transferring to Khulna Surgical Hospital from KMCH in the morning.
