A Chittagong court on Tuesday sent a municipal councillor of Satkania upazila to jail in a case filed over the killing of a person during the day of municipal election.
Mozzamel Haque Bhola surrendered before the court yesterday seeking bail but the court rejecting it sent him to jail, said court Inspector Moshiur Rahman.
