The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named Sarwar Imran as Assistant Coach of the Bangladesh National Cricket team for the three-match ODI series against India. Bangladesh will play three ODI matches against India in June.
Imran is one of the most respected coaches in the country with three decades of coaching experience. He has previously performed the roles of the head coach, assistant coach and bowling coach of the national team, head coach of Bangladesh A team, Bangladesh Under-19 team and National Academy teams and the national pace bowling coach of the BCB of different terms.
The training camp of the Bangladesh preliminary squad will start tomorrow (Monday). The players have been asked to report to the Assistant Coach at 8:30 am at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
