A character of a TV drama can change the life of an actress which has been proved in case of promising actress Sarika Sabah. Now Mostafa Kamal Raz directed NTV’s ongoing serial Family Crisis is one of the popular drama serials. To play the role of Jhumur in the serial, Sarika Sabah has already come into limelight. During corona pandemic shooting of the serial has already started and it is being aired on NTV now. Like other actors, Sarika Sabah also started shooting of the serial. She said during lockdown she didn’t take part in any shooting. Last five days she took part in shooting of the serial. Sarika has already completed graduation from Computer Science & Engineering from North South University. If she didn’t work in role of Jhumur in the serial she might start to do job in a private organisation.
She said, “To show respect to Raz Bhai, he never takes any credit from the background to my present position in media. He always says that only for my acting in role of Jhumur viewers liked my role in the serial. For this reason, he gives more focus to the role Jhumur and increases its duration. I was really inspired with the words of Raz Bhai. Everybody is co-operating me during shooting in the serial. If Raz Bhai didn’t cast me in that role I would start to work in a private firm. Now I have taken acting as my profession. I am grateful to Raz Bhai and my family because if my family did not give me freedom to work in the serial I could not get popularity as Jhumur on the screen.”
