One acre of government forest land is being reforested in Bhawal Range of Gazipur under Bhabanipur bit in collaboration with Arshian Fisheries.
On Thursday from morning till evening, BKBari bit, Bhabanipur bit, Rajendrapur west bit were cleared of forest. Divisional Forest Officer Kajal Talukder was present on the occasion. Assistant Forest Conservator Enamul Haque and Bhawal Range Officer Masud Rana were also present on the occasion. BKBari bit officer Md. Kamruzzaman Mollah, Bhabanipur bit officer Shahan Shah Akand, Baruipara bit officer Md. Abul Kalam Shamsuddin and other officers and employees were also present there.
Kajal Talukder, Divisional Forest Officer, Dhaka Wildlife Management and Nature Conservation Department, said that various species of shawls are being planted under the Sufal project. To make a additional Shalban of sustainable and prosperous, a multi-pronged action plan is being implemented to protect wildlife and keep the environment intact.
