On behalf of Lt. Gen. Masud Uddin Chowdhury, MP from Feni-3 (Sonagazi-Daganbhuiyan) constituency, various fruit, forest and medicinal plant saplings were distributed on Sunday.
About 2500 saplings were handed over from the government nursery after the inauguration of the sapling distribution program at the office of the Daganbhuiayan Forest Officer. Daganbhuiyan Upazila Forest Officer Sultanul Alam and Taj Uddin were present on the occasion. Daganbhuiyan Upazila Jatiya Party President Zahirul Haque Bhuiyan, Vice-President Khwaja Karim, Senior Joint-General Secretary Farhana Irene, Joint-General Secretary Abu Sufian, Organizing Secretary Maulana Abdur Rahim Sohel and other leaders, Journalists and local people were also present.
These saplings will be distributed among the people of 6 unions of the upazila.
