TV actress and programme presenter Sanzida Tonni has been working in media for last five years. She does not keep acting and hosting in different ways. She enjoys these two things simultaneously. She always feels comfortable to give her identity as an actress and a host. Now she is acting in two important roles in Boishakhi TV’s two drama serials – Roser Hari and Bou Shwashuri, directed by Akash Ranjan.
Sanzida Tonni, hailed from Barishal, was top 5 in Lux-Channel i Superstar contest. At first, she got the opportunity to act in Dipankar Dipan’s play titled Loveguru.Com. Later she also acted under different directors like Gias Uddin Selim, Solaiman Joy, Shahnewaz Ripon, Anwar Hossain, Iftekhar Ifti, among others. In hosting, she came into limelight to host Channel i’s Banglabid. She feels proud to host this show. She is regular host of Boishakhi TV’s ongoing music related show Golden Song. Therefore, for last three months, she has been hosting DBC Channel’s new show Khela Niye Notun Khela.
Tonni is a talented student also. She got first class in Law in Honours (Primeasia University) and Masters (Jagannath University). While talking about her works Tonni said, “With my father’s interest I studied law. I am acting and hosting passionately. I really enjoy hosting and acting.”
Tonni tied the nuptial knot with Shaon Quaiyum in March of this year.
