A court here on Monday granted bail to 71 people, mostly Santals, in four cases filed over a clash.
Senior Judicial Magistrate ASM Taskinul Haque passed the order following separate petitions.
Earlier on December 22 last, the High Court granted a six-week interim bail to them in the cases.
Two Santal men were killed and 30 people, including nine policemen, injured as law enforcers and workers of Rangpur
Sugar Mills clashed with the Santal people in Gobindaganj upazila on November 6 last year.
The clash broke out when workers of Rangpur Sugar Mills along with police went to Bagda Farm area to reclaim land of the sugar mill allegedly occupied by the Santal community.
Four cases had been filed against 122 people in this connection.
