Top four contestant of Veet-Channel i Top Model contest Sanjida Tonmoy has started acting in the big screen. Title of the movie is Bapjan-er Bioscope.
Noted scriptwriter Masum Reza has written story and dialogue of the movie. Riazul Riju is giving direction of the movie.
In the movie, Sanjida Tonmoy is acting in role of a female who hailed from a brothel. In the story of the movie it will be shown that Sanjida started conjugal life with nephew of a landlord of a char area. Main story of the movie is based on life and activities of the people of char area.
While talking about the movie Sanjida Tonmoy told this correspondent, “For the first time, I am acting in movie. My role in the movie is really nice. In this movie, director has presented me very commercially. By working in the movie now I am realising that acting in the big screen is absolutely different from the small screen. For this reason, now I want to continue acting in the big screen.”
Besides Sanjida, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shatabdi Wadud, Masud Mohiuddin, Moutushi, Tareq Babu, among others, are acting in different roles in the movie.
However, Sanjida Tonmoy has taken preparation to acting in two new movies. Shooting of a movie will kick off from next month.
“In fact, I want acting in commercial movie. For this reason, I have started my career in the big screen. I want to work in a planned way,” Sanjida said.
It may be mentioned that now Sanjida acted six drama serials are being aired in different satellite channels. In coming Eid-ul-Fitr, Sanjida acted 10 plays and telefilms will go on air, she said. n
