Samuels charged under ICC Anti-Corruption Code

West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels has been charged by the ICC, on behalf of Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), with breaching four counts of its Anti-Corruption Code during the T10 League. Samuels has been pulled up for offences that include failing to disclose to the designated anti-corruption official about the receipt of hospitality with a value of USD 750 or more, not cooperating with the investigation, and obstruction or delaying it by concealing information that may have been relevant to the investigation.
Samuels has been given 14 days from September 21 to respond to the charges.
