Samsung initiates door-to-door service programme

As part of Samsung Bangladesh’s commitment to provide the best possible after-sales service to its customers, the electronic giant initiated door-to-door customer service in Sylhet and Barisal.
Now Samsung-branded service caravan will move on the roads of Sylhet and Barisal and provide after-sales services to customers in those regions, said a press release. Two service vans will roam around the cities delivering services to customers, especially to those who called Samsung helpline and asked for their services.
The service vans will also stop in front of Samsung showrooms to provide advice on how to use Samsung products efficiently and ways to increase their product life.
Once a customer calls Samsung helpline and asks for their service, the van will directly go to the customer’s house to ensure the value added after sales service for all Samsung products, consumer electronics, and mobile handsets.
The vans will collect mobile handsets from Sylhet and Barisal areas and after the repairing is complete, it will be returned to the customer on the next visit in the area.
Furthermore, the facilities provided through these Service Vans will cover free software upgrades for handsets and fixing problems of Samsung home appliances such as Televisions, Refrigerators, Washing machines, Air -conditioner and Microwave ovens upon customers’ request at Samsung help line.
