Noted singer Mustafa Zaman Abbasi’s daughter singer Samira Abbasi has rendered popular song of 1970’s Nazrul Islam-directed movie Swaralipi titled Gaan-eri khatai swaralipi likhey bolo ki hobey, Jibon khatar chhinno pata shudhu behisabey bhore robe. This song was rendered by internationally renowned singer Runa Laila in that film. Ekushey Award winner noted music director Sujeyo Shyam has arranged the music. Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote its lyrics. Samira Abbasi also made music video of the song. While talking in this regard Samira Abbasi told this correspondent, “To survive the legendary songs of our film industry, I have taken step. I try to keep original form of the song. Respectable Runa Laila is our icon. Not only should I also alls come forward to survive our legendary songs. This song will be released in coming Eid.”
