Samia Nahi, hailed from Lakshmipur, is the eldest daughter of Md Abdul Kashem Bhuiyan and Minara Begum Bhuiyan. Only having fascination about acting, Samia Nahi acted in Murad Parvez’s drama Tritiyo Purush in 2019. Then she started to engage herself with acting day after day. Having glamorous look and cute smiling face, one day director Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar gave her phone call and offered Nahi for acting in a grant movie. After hearing the story, Nahi agreed to work in the movie titled Daimukti. Nahi played role of Kobita opposite Symon in Komol Sarkar written story based 2 hours and 19 minutes this movie. Produced by Md Jasimuddin, noted director Badiul Alam Khokon gave direction of the movie.
While talking about acting in the movie, Samia Nahi said, “Basically story of Daimukti revolves with an old age home. I have liked the character Kobita. For this reason, despite having no experience earlier for acting in big screen, I decided to act in this movie. I have enjoyed lot acting in this movie. I am really grateful to director of this movie Bodiul Alam Khokon, director Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, producer Md Jasimuddin, among others. It is my debut movie. I believe after releasing, viewers will enjoy this movie.”
Producer Jasimuddin informed that the movie has already got clearance from the Censor Board. “We are taking necessary preparations to release the movie after Eid-ul-Fitr,” he said.
Basically having keen interest about acting and after starting acting in TV dramas, Samia Nahi started to work in Sagor Jahan’s drama. In this case, she contacted with Sagor Jahan’s assistant Tareq. Now Nahi is acting in several numbers of drama and serials like Sagor Jahan’s Online Offline, Bhalo Basabasi, Heavyweight Mizan, Chitra Tar Opekkhai, Nirar Chhad, etc.
Samia Nahi’s birthday is on August 14. Now she is studying Sociology in Lalmatia Women’s College. She also acted in serial Modhupur, she added.
