Salma is one of the most promising young singers who was crowned as the winner of Close-up 1 Tomakei Khujchhe Bangladesh in 2006. Recently she has completed 10 years of her career in music.
To celebrate her landmark musical journey, as well as to spend some quality time with her dear ones on her birthday, recently Salma organised a programme at a city restaurant.
Along with her parents Md Fazlul Haque and Maleqa Khatun, elder brother Zainul Abedin Joy and only child Sneha, she looked forward to make the day a memorable one with the invited guests.
While sharing her feelings to complete 10 years of her journey in music Salma told this correspondent, “By the grace of Allah, I have spent 10 years in the music arena in a wonderful manner. I am always grateful to my fans and audience, as well as to everyone who are always beside me to pursue my career as a singer. I seek everyone’s prayers and best wishes that I can spend the rest of the time of my life delightfully with music and my only daughter Sneha.”
On the other hand, Salma’s new album titled Mon Majhi, which is her 11th solo album, will be released on the occasion of ensuing Valentine’s Day, on February 14. The album consists of three songs, such as Mon Majhi, Darad, and Ke Je Kokhon.
Salma’s last album titled Anurager Ghorey was released in 2015 under the banner of G-Series.
It is noted that Salma’s earlier albums are: Bondhu Aiyo, Best of Salma, Poran-er Bondhu, Binodini Go, Matir Tara, Bondhu Aiylana, Brindabon, Prem-er Janaja and Swapno Uraila.
