Despite widespread protest of Chalachitra Oikya Parishad, a platform of the local film industry, the authorities of some cinema houses in Bangladesh on Friday released Hindi movie ‘Wanted’ performed by Indian superhero Salman Khan.
According to information provided by Chalachitra Paribeshok Samity, the film has been screening in around 50 cinema halls across the country.
However, a few cinema halls in the capital,
including Star Cine Complex, have suspended showing the film for only one week.
On the other hand, four cinema halls including Kanon of Feni, Gouri of Shahjadpur, Mollicka of Ullapara and Sagarika of Sirajganj have started screening the foreign movie from Thursday last.
