Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) by a notification of Financial Institution Division of Ministry of Finance recently.
Prior, he served Rupali Bank as a Director. He also performed in Rupali Investment Limited, Premier Bank Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited as a Director, said a press release.
Md. Salim completed Post Graduation in Accounting with first class first from the University of Chittagong. He achieved CMA from ICMAB; CA from ICAB; MBA from University of Brussels, Belgium; CIFRS from ICAEW, UK; PFA from CIPFA, UK and PhD from University of Chittagong. He is also a Fellow Member of ICAB, ICMA and CIPFA, UK. He has about 60 publications in local and international journals. As a part of his career he attended many trainings, seminar and workshop and presented a good number of papers at home and abroad.
Dr. Salim hails from a renowned muslim family of Fatikchori of Chittagong District.
