The sales of Walton brand refrigerators, air conditioners, air coolers, ceiling and other fans have marked a sharp rise across the country following the sweltering heat wave sweeping over the country. A good number of customers are thronging to Walton Plaza and showrooms to purchase ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labeled cooling appliances manufactured with state-of-the art technology.
Sources said, vendors of cooling products are struggling to cope up with the sudden increase of demand. However, Walton is successfully meeting the demands due to the early preparation they took to increase the production and stock of these products.
Eva Rezwana, Chief Coordinator of Walton Marketing department, said, this year, the temperature is comparatively high than the previous years. The sales of refrigerators, ACs, air coolers, fans, juicers, etc. are increasing with the rise of temperature. Customers are choosing Walton brand as they manufacture and provide high-quality new models of latest technology products at affordable prices.
Amdadul Hoque Sarker, Executive Director of Walton Marketing Department, said, Walton had increased stocks of cooling goods ahead of summer which led to meet the additional demand. He hoped that, this year, Walton would witness sales beyond expectations.
Authorities said, Walton retains the top position in local refrigerator market for manufacturing high quality products using modern technology and machineries maintaining international standard.
