Abdus Salam Murshedy was unopposed elected Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation. His opponents Manjur Kader of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited, Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan, Director In-Charge of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Dewan Shafiul Arefin Tutul withdrew their candidature on the last day (Wednesday) to take away the candidature. Thus, Abdus Salam Murshedy was unopposed elected Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation.
It may be mentioned that earlier, Abdus Salam Murshedy was elected Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation. Abdus Salam Murshedy will act as the senior Vice-President of BFF for the second time.
The election of other posts of BFF will be held on April 30.
Meanwhile, Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan withdrew his candidature from the post of Vice-President.
Ajmal Ahmed Tapan, AKM Mominul Haque Sayeed, Dewan Shafiul Arefin Tutul, Sheikh Nizamuddin, Mostafizur Rahman Mainu, Abdul Mannan and ANM Aminul Haque Mamun withdrew their candidature from the post of Members of the Executive Committee of BFF on the same day.
