Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) Fourth Class Employees Union Election was held for 2022-2023 on June 13 last.
Abdus Salam was elected as President and Mojibur Rahman as General Secretary of the union.
Senior Vice President Liton Mia, Vice Presidents Sahidar Rahman and Ruhul Amin, Deputy General Secretary Abu Raihan Bhuiyan and Mortuza Mia, Treasurer Saiful Islam, Organizing Secretary Nur Hossain, Publicity Secretary Kabir Hossain, Office Secretary Nasir Uddin, Sports Secretary . Mosharraf Hossain have been elected in the election.
Besides, Shahid Sarkar, Sanaullah, Belayet Hossain (2), Md. Dalim Sheikh, Mehedi Hasan, Khurshid Begum, Arifuzzaman and Gopal Chandra Sheel have been elected as members.
Dr. Shaikh Anowarul Fattah, Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, BUET, served as the Election Commissioner.
