UNB, Dhaka :Missing BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed’s wife Hasina Ahmed on Wednesday voiced frustration as there has been ‘no instruction from the Prime Minister’ to trace her husband.”I’ve sought an appointment to meet the Prime Minister, but there has been no response so far. My children are getting frustrated over the passage of time… I’m cent percent sure that law enforcers picked my husband up. I’m again humbly appealing to the Prime Minister so that she asks the law enforcers to produce my husband before public,” she said.Hasina Ahmed came up with the remarks when some leaders of the Federation of Human Rights Organisations visited her Gulshan residence to console her.She alleged that she is not getting assistance from the law enforcers to find out her missing husband. “My husband has remained missing for nearly 15 days. Nobody is helping me trace him.”The delegation of Federation of Human Rights Organisations, a platform of different local right bodies, led by its chairmanadvocate M Shahjahan went to Salahuddin’s residence around 5pm.They talked to the family members and expressed their sympathy to them.BNP and Salauddin’s family members have been claiming that law enforcers picked him up from a house at Uttara on the night of March 10, an allegation denied by the law enforcers and the government.Hasina Ahmed has recently submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in the capital’s Tejgaon seeking her intervention in tracing her missing husband.
