Bangladesh leading coach Mohammad Salahuddin hinted that he will be more comfortable working in the development sector than in the national team.
Bangladesh Cricket Board proposed Salahuddin to work as the national assistant coach in the upcoming home series against Pakistan.
However, Salahuddin is yet to make his mind as he is employed in MASCO Shakib Cricket Academy as well as in Prime Bank as their coach.
”I am thankful to them that they decided to offer me to work with Bangladesh team. Now it’s up to BCB’s decision what they will decide as I had spoken with them and let them know about my current situation,” Salahuddin told the reporters on Monday.
“It is really difficult situation for me as we have just formed a new academy. Here many cricketers came to practice only for me. First of all I want to talk with my family and my close ones as they also have opinion,” he said.
”Let’s see what happen. Time will say but I cannot say anything right now. Obviously everyone has a desire to work with Bangladesh team but I personally want to work in development sector. I feel comfort with young players and I enjoy my work with players development,” he added
