Sakila Parvin is basically viewers’ choice a popular model of music videos of present generation and also
a TV actress. She first came into discussion to perform as a model in music video of Mahadi Sultan rendered song titled Tor Mon Parai. More than 12 crore viewers have watched this video on YouTube channel till now. Therefore, Sakila also performed as model in many other music videos. She also acted in television dramas and cinemas. As a young actress of present generation, Sakila was awarded in the Global Youth Leadership Summit and Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand on June 24 and 25 this year. Sakila got her award from Bangkok this week. According to the model-actress, when the summit was held in Bangkok, she was busy with shooting of her Eid projects. So, she couldn’t attend the summit during that time.
After getting the award, Sakila Parvin shared her feelings by this way, “As a young artiste from Bangladesh, I got the award which will inspire to do better works in future. I am really feeling honoured and proud in this regard. I have cordial thanks and gratefulness to the organisers of the summit. This award getting has increased my responsibility to works. I have cordial loves for all including my parents.”
It is noted that Sakila Parvin acted in movie Operation Sundarbans, directed by Dipankar Dipon. But her debut movie was Kolijai Dag Legechhe, directed by Jasim Uddin. Sakila informed that her acted dramas Antorjure, X Jokhon Kajer Meye, Backup Boyfriend and Stupid Couple are waiting to air now. She is also acting in Boishakhi TV’s ongoing serial Bou Shashurir Juddho, directed by Akash Ranjan. Therefore, Sakila starrer new serial Farmgate is waiting to air in a television channel now. She has already performed as a model in a duet song rendered by Belal Khan and Lopa Hossain titled Subhan Allah.
